Re: What's a food you thought you hated
My mother would sneak cheese into everything when I was a kid, and it was always the cheapest cheddar, or worse, feckin' VELVEETA, and it just nauseated the hell out of me for years. I could handle pizza - but only mozzarella ones, the second cheddar got mixed in I'd go weird. And the occasional slice of swiss like every year or so.
I moved the hell away from her and found myself in region that thrives on cheese. Real cheese. Brie and *good* cheddar, and tangy swiss, and goat cheeses and omnomnomnom.
Not Stiltons and their relations, though. I have yet to try one that doesn't turn into filthy hobo toe flavor on me.
