Not really, since he made it pretty clear he doesn't want a serious relationship.

Also thank you for spelling "y'all" right - that's a huge pet peeve for me. Silly, I know.

i guess i just don't see why he brought romance into it to begin with, then. there was no romance involved back when we were just fuckbuddies. i don't understand why he brought romance into it and wanted to make it official, if he didn't want a serious relationship. i don't think that's the reason, honestly. i think he does kinda want it, but keeps going back and forth for some reason. he just won't elaborate.

People change their minds. People have second thoughts. I know you want to pin your hopes on the romance because he initially made a move in that direction, but you cannot discount the fact that he seems to have gone off the idea in a really big way.

Maya Angelou said a very smart thing: when people tell you who they are, believe them. This guy is saying that maybe he thought about romance, but now he doesn't want it. If you ignore what his actions are saying and get your hopes up, it'll mean a lot more grief for you in the future.

that's what i was thinking too, that he just changed his mind, and i even told him it was okay. he knows i value honesty and directness and that it's the indecisiveness that's hurting me. i don't understand why things were made so complicated for literally no reason. all it's done is drive a wedge between us, when our relationship was amazing before.

how do people usually spell y'all?

"Ya'll" mostly, which drives me a little crazy because...well. It's a contraction of "You" and "All". Tbf, the people who do that also use it as a singular "you" replacer and that probably is part of why it annoys me.

I don't know if I've ever seen that spelling but man, that would drive me bonkers.
