yeah that's precisely what i concluded last night. i thought about it awhile and honestly i wouldn't even be happy dating him at this point, knowing he wasn't eager about it.

Just be kind about it. He probably doesn't realize what he's doing. Hopefully he'll learn from this.

i've tried to explain, but he's been shirking a lot of the blame. the whole thing where he was like "and btw i WAS gonna ask you out but now i'm having seconds thoughts" reeked of guilt-tripping to me. still, i don't think he's doing anything on purpose or with malicious intent. he's just young and kinda dumb in some ways. he's also not entirely open to seeing where the fault lies with him, which makes it difficult. but i plan on being kind. after all, i still want to be friends.
