I don't doubt her exposure (although I often correct Americans of my ethnic ancestry on the misunderstood, or completely wrong facts about my culture, that they absorbed through similar means), I'm just doubting the fact that she had no exposure to the culture of her other 3 grandparents, so hearing her rant about white people as if from the perspective of an outsider sounds a bit performative to me.

I didn't actually have contact with any of my grandparents (unless you count the total of two times I met my maternal grandmother, who physically abused myself and my sister, and we never saw her again); the woman I called my Grandmother wasn't related; she "adopted" my Mom. My dad was very close with his Eastern Cherokee grandfather, who passed on his culture, and in turn, my Dad passed it to me.

Mom had very little interest in passing down her culture, so I know very little of that side of the family beyond the aunts and uncles and some cousins; most of my cultural exposure was to my Cherokee side.

And what I was "ranting" about was the Tumblr SJW types who are white with no Native American heritage who tell people with Native American heritage to STFU based on blood quantum, their skin color, or whether they're on the rolls. That's white people setting themselves up as gatekeepers for who is allowed to talk on certain issues, when they themselves have no connection to the culture in question. If you can't see how that's an issue, then I honestly don't know what to say.
