The "ew" was more of a wtf? kinda "ew" for me. I can see the subtext in the pairing, but calling them "canon" is going way too far with it.

All the time. They also get really, really butthurt when you say either "um... no it's not. There is no pairing canon in KH, that's why it's winful 'cause you can do what you like in fanfic :D ", point out that if AkuRoku is canon, so is AkuLarxene (there's about x100 subtext for that in Chain of Memories. She freaking flirts with him, strokes his chin, and gives him these saucy :3 looks.), ship someone else with Axel (again. AkuLarxene? Ahahaha.) or state very simply that "Well... ok, but I don't like the pairing." and claim that you're either a homophobe, blind to the OBVIOUS SUBTEXT OMFG or whatever.

Sorry, but I missed the cutscene where they buttfuck each other. >>;

I'd be ok with the pairing if so many people weren't absolute tards about it.
