3. We're "worse than Nartuards?" Hardly. KHR! fandom is probably the most sane anime fandom I've come across. No ship wars, no character bashing, equal love for het and yaoi (though the fandom could use a little more yuri, w/e) and most importantly, no BNFs parading around screaming what should and shouldn't be written in the fandom (to be even more correct, we really don't have BNFs at all.. correct me if I'm wrong. We could have them, it's just that everyone is so nice I don't see it.)

Don't like the squeeing, don't read it.. um duh. I tend to skim over fangirling on my f-list (unless it's about a fandom I'm in as well, then I join in ;D) and I've relegated to putting my fangirling behind a cut to appease those on my f-list that would prefer not to see it. It's not that hard of a request to ask.

(And honestly, for someone like me (I dunno about everyone else), I'm gonna squee over it for the sake of squeeing. First anime fandom I've come into before it died.

I totally claimed K86 for 10lilies. I've just been so engulfed in classes (and the fact they they're messing up my account like whoa) that I haven't had time to write fic.

And there's a K96 fic here that's so totally adorable.

I'm honestly not being rude, but it seems to me like you're in a completely different fandom.

There have been ship wars and there is a lot of character bashing (which btw i think there's nothing wrong with, you're allowed to love a character as much as hate one) . Also? There is most definitely NO equal love for het and yaoi. In fact, i've spoken to many fellow reborn! fans that have complained about the dislike and complete lack of het in our fandom, and lack of yuri too since more of the girls are (shock) hated/disliked and by coming into this series everyone assumes you love the yaoi side of it (which i have no problem with etc. just sayin').

I'll agree about the BNFs and Narutards things though, and that everyone is very nice and there's no bitching since it's such a light-hearted series, but you can't make out as if it's perfect when it really isn't.

I agree with the lack of yuri and even commented on it in my initial comment. However, I don't think the girls are particularly disliked per se. Not fangirled/fanboyed as much as the male characters? I'll give you that. But flat out hated on, in the vein of Sakura in Naruto fandom? Not even.

P.S. - I'm not being rude, wanky either. If there's something I missed in the fandom, I'd like to know so I don't look like an ass later.

Where/Who are you hanging around with? Because the fandom I lurk in contains none of that. oO

Haru, Chrome, Lal Mirch, and Bianchi are very well liked from what I could tell (Kyoko's a bit iffy), but you can't help the skewed het-yaoi-yuri ratio when you could count the number of female characters with your fingers. =/

And where are these mystical ship wars? I've been only seeing "I like 8059!" "Oh really? I'm more of a 8018-er myself" "I like AllxTsuna. |D" comments.

The All-Tsuna person is probably me. :D
