When I first got into KH2, I shipped Axel and Roxas romantically, but now... I really have to agree with you. I genuinely prefer seeing them having a beautiful friendship - and those new Final Mix scenes were the reason WHY I changed my mind about the pairing.

I see where the shippers are coming from, definitely. And I know that I'll get shit if I say that making it romantic or sexual makes it less beautiful, but that's MY opinion. And it is really the reason why I can't get into KH fandom anymore.

... then again, I stay on the fringes of fandom and mostly shout from my rocking chair that NOBODY REMEMBERS THE OLD GAMES WHEN ALL WE DIDNT EVEN HAVE KHI: FINAL MIX, JUST ANOTHER SIDE, ANOTHER STORY etc, etc, etc XD

Ahh no, I think I worded it wrong? It's just that I hate the "making it romantic ruins the beauty!" thing for my other fandoms, and yet I feel it for AkuRoku so I feel like a huge hypocrite, lol. It's that plus just moving on from KH that makes me no longer a part of the fandom; not because of the fans, really.

LOL! Well, I can't remember because I got into fandom after KH2 was released. ^^; But I do honestly prefer the first game over the second. :P
