N!S: I really like how TV shows are starting to introduce more physically active women as important characters. This woman, for example, is a kickboxer, and can hold her own in fights in this episode of Person of Interest.

I'm liking it too, this trend of more swoon-worthy women who are just as active as dude leads. And I love waify fighters as much as the next person, but gimme some believable ones (like Maggie Q!) and fitter ones and I'm all over that ♥

POI is pretty good about this imo, even giving us women with control behind the scenes on top of the ones who will shoot you in or break your knees. And it's not so much a strongfemalecharacter thing as they can hold their own (because POI characters generally are flawed and interesting as all fuck).

ME TOO. Except replace "kind of" with "definitely", and "probably" with "most definitely yes". Ignoring the fact that everyone can beat me up ofc the point is yes.

I'm not all that athletic, which is possibly why I crush so hard on very athletic women. Admiration of what I can't manage, maybe coupled with a little hope they could get me motivated to be better than I am now.

I actually ended up with a crush on Sakura Oogami, from the game Dangan Ronpa -- and she pretty much takes the body-builder look to ridiculous extremes. Between those muscles and her personality, I just can't resist...
