I love "The Secret History" by Donna Tarth, though I don't think that's a book for everyone. Still it is probably one of my favourite novels.

I'm also really fond of Haruki Murakami as an author, with "After Dark" being my favourite of his works. I just love the cinematic feel of it and can just read it over and over again.

I also loved The Secret History! Great style and the characters were such charismatic assholes. although I thought the reveal about the twins was too much.
