Obligatory Loki response.

He's okay.

I actually really enjoy Loki (he's about the only MCU villain that I don't find boring) but I can only take so much of him. He's better in small doses, imo.

I guess I agree by default since it took me a minute to even remember who the other MCU villains are.

Haha, I'm not surprised. They tend to be painfully forgettable; villains are one thing the MCU needs to work on. Loki isn't my all time fav but he makes a lasting impression.

Agreed. That's why I hope Marvel never caves in to the fans wanting a Loki solo movie.

I just don't see how it could work, tbh. I think Tom's a great actor but I also think Loki by himself would be a mess. If Hemsworth could guest-star so Tom would have someone to play off of maybe it could work, but I don't want it.

That's true. I like Loki moderately to significantly as long as I don't step in fandom.

When the films came out I made the mistake of glancing at the fandom and within a month I was tired of looking at Tom's face. It's a nice face, but the obsession got old fast when I could barely find any fangirling about the other characters.

Yeah, although Red Skull (scenery chewing ftw!), Alexander Pierce, Grant Ward and Cal Zabo stand out for me.

Red Skull I kind of like, yea, as he's pretty straightforward and that isn't always a terrible thing in a villain. I thought Weaving was entertaining in the role, though he still wasn't particularly memorable for me.

Redford is amazing but I just didn't care that much for Alexander Pierce. Ward... I do think he's more interesting now that he's gone to the dark side, but I'm not a fan.

And I feel like I haven't seen enough of Skye's dad to have much of an impression either way.

But different opinions and all that! (Ronan is my biggest disappointment, so I was thinking of him and... Whoever the bad guy in Thor 2 was because I actually can't remember their name. They looked cool, but...)

I like him fine, but how I like to see him is different from what 90% of the fandom thinks.

I agree. I like him, but not the way the vast majority of his fans do. I also think 90% of his problems are of his own making, and that none of the Avengers, including Thor, owe him anything.
