Thanks to a fandom friend, one of my nicknames is now Anton because of Anton Ego from Ratatouille. Despite the fact that I'm neither French nor male, I'm stupidly pleased. I also have fluffy Anton&Remy&Linguini&Colette headcanons that may or may not involve Russian antonovka apples (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonovka).

I didn't think it merited a secret of its own. It's so silly. I'm not even sure if my being flattered by this nickname says good things about me.

For some reason, whenever a fandom friend and I talk, the conversation ALWAYS somehow goes back to the fandom where we met,

I don't think either of us minds... I do wonder why we can't let it go sometimes, though.

The same thing happens with a friend of mine, at some point we always start talking about food.

I use my pose-able Sailor Moon for drawing inspiration. It probably helps that I also draw Sailor Moon fanart but I can use it for other drawings as well.

This is not the best confession I was just thinking about it since I'm playing with her right now. ^.^

I've rediscovered DWRP and I want in.

I drool when I'm tired. Not sleeping, but just tired.

When someone tells me I've done a good job, like a customer who tells me I've made them a really tasty drink, even if it's just a brewed coffee, or that they live view pretty it looks, even if I screwed up, I preen like hell. I feel so proud and flattered I squeak.

However this also extends to things that weren't intended to be, but were taken, as compliments. Like, "The way you organize the dishwasher is really creepy."

Apparently no matter what I do, if someone gives me a reaction that is not anupset one, my day is made and I feel like I'm the Lord of Accomplishment.

...This is not a confession but it IS silly, so why not?

When I listen to Fall Out Boy's 'Novocaine' I always think Patrick is going to sing, "I will always land on you like a succubus". Always. (The actual lyrics are "I will always land on you like a sucker punch", and I'm surprised to hear them because apparently succubus makes more sense to me.)

They have some of the best misheard lyrics.

They do. I'm very fond of, "I'm a little man, and I'm also evil, also into cats, also into cattttttttttttts".

The stupid thing being I didn't even mishear the lyrics to this song, my brain just thinks FOB was wrong. "I could make this song better, dammit."

Yessss. Oh man, this is bringing memories back. FOB was my first internet fandom-y thing.

And "Bring the dumb ass out the gutter" from Arms Race. Arms Race is just one giant misheard lyric.

You too?! FOB was the only major bandom I've been in besides Linkin Park. I loved MCR too but didn't follow them as closely. I spent a lot of time at the FOB forums back in the day. (Suddenly I feel old, because I was so young back then.)

When I was little, I called ramen noodles "Roman noodles."

That's so cute!

I called blu-tack "glue tack" because it's sticky, and it's grey not blue. I think I still do call it that out loud even if I know it's wrong.
