Re: Fancasting Pratchett

I keep seeing Maggie Smith as Granny Weatherwax. Maybe Judi Dench as Nanny Ogg. I know that's very obvious.

And I used to imagine Sean Bean as Vimes but lately I'm not sure.

Lee Ingleby as Nobby.

Michael Gambon as Ridcully.

Rowan Atkinson as the Bursar.

Alan Rickman as Vetinari is very obvious but I still like it.

Christopher Lee as Death, of course.

I really liked Hogfather, and the two animated versions of Soul Music and Wyrd Sisters.

Oh, yes, I'm fond of the animated adaptations, too! I remember really liking the way they portrayed Death. And everyone else, tbh. They never prettified any of the characters.

I especially loved the voice actor who played Magrat. She was exactly the way I imagined her. (The demon-conjuring scene still kills me.)

I loaned Soul Music to a musician friend. He thought it was terrific fun.

Now I wish they'd do an animated version of Maskerade!
