See I do agree that fandom has blown how good TWS is out of proportion a bit, but I still love the movie and it's my favourite of the phase 2 films so far so I can deal with it.

(What I don't like is how some people have now decided that since TWS was so good we need to trash the other movies to make it look better? Like no, I like all the films, go away with that shit).

In fairness...some people like me don't like the other films and never have.

I like Iron Man (as a fun movie) but I've never been invested in the characters all that much. And I don't much like Iron Man 2 or 3 at all.

The Hulk movies are awful IMO.

Don't care about Thor (his movies are okay).

And disliked the Avengers. GOTG is overrated and brainless IMO. Not bad, but it's more like a rollercoaster ride -- fun while you're watching it, but not something you particularly invest in.

The Cap films are literally the reason why I'm in the fandom. Without them, I wouldn't care and I suspect that they've brought in some people like me who don't much care for the rest of the MCU.

The Hulk movies are awful IMO. Uh, I don't think you're alone on this. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure what I heard most about the more recent Hulk movie [2008] was, "Well, it's not as bad as the other one [2003]."

Ah sorry my second part was more aimed at specific people that I had in mind who initially loved the other films but after TWS decided that it wasn't cool or something to like the older films and set about trashing them to make TWS seem better. Which rubbed me the wrong way, especially since I didn't feel that bashing the other films to make TWS look good was necessary.

I shouldn't have been as vague as I was about it, it's more than fine if you don't like the other movies(I don't like the first Hulk movie myself tbh). Sorry about that.
