Awww, yea, IA. Her friendship with Isabela (while tumultuous), is adorable and quite sweet as times goes by. I also like how Aveline will stand with Hawke at the end of the game even if Hawke is doing something she doesn't approve of. Considering how deadly supporting Hawke at that moment is (and considering the life she had built in Kirkwall), it says a lot about what kind of character she is. (...And, hell, again, she does that a lot with her friends. She's just overly supportive and protective. Love that bit where she talks about redirecting patrols around Fenris' place.)

I adored her little moments of friendship with Fenris (like when they bond over killing slavers or when he encourages her in his own way to take a chance on a relationship with Donnic), and I wish we had more dialogue opportunities that explored it. I also thought it was really cute that that he and Donnic apparently play cards once a week together at his mansion and that Fenris straight up admits to her that he thinks Donnic is a good dude and enjoys spending time with him (not the highest compliment ever, but pretty strong words from Fenris).

Yes! I seemed to have missed that convo on my other playthroughs, but heard it on my most recent one and spent a good few minutes aww'ing over that perfection. It is all kinds of rare for Fenris to actually compliment people. If Fenris takes an interest in you or deigns you good enough to compliment, that's a major sign of respect.

(Now I wish I had an Aveline icon...)
