From the articles I read, it doesn't really matter. The female Thor was promoted like crazy. While Thor: God of Thunder wasn't. Some of the previous Thor installments did way better.

Just gotta wait at least a year to see if this sticks. Or, if it drops off significantly when the "new storyline smell" wears off.
