Not the secret maker, but I sort of get this? In the stories, he sometimes goes on dates / to dances, or is stepping out with a ladyfriend. It's all very circumspect. On the other hand, I sort of think Wooster is ace. He's very clueless about anything sexual and seems alarmed if anyone takes sexual interest in him. On the other hand, he has lots of crushes. That fits my knowledge of what it's like being ace.

On the other hand, of course that's nothing to do with shipping, as people ship whatever the canon says. :-)

It never occurred to me to read Bertie as non-straight before, but your arguments make perfect sense to me :) He could be either ace or a late-bloomer (seeing as he's generally pretty infantile).
