Yeah, I agree. I stopped watching the show and reading fic (which was my connection to fandom). Sam/Dean and their beautiful/fucked up relationship is, too me, the heart and soul of the show. IMO, other characters are annoying. I strongly dislike Destiel. I'm with you, OP!
