This happens all the time on my band blog, and even on my Bandcamp page (more for plays than views). I can usually trace it to some new reblog or repost or something, and yeah, usually, it's Tumblr. (THANKS TUMBLR I <3 YOU! :D )

But even outside of that, things often come in waves. Seriously, honestly, truly, don't let it bother you. It's normal. If you had better access to stats, you'd be able to find out where.

(BTW, if anyone is interested in a Private Detective Mako AU from the Legend of Korra environment 20 years later, I am very slowly posting that to my AO3 page. :D )
