I haven't seen this show, but I can understand your frustration. Sex isn't the only component of a relationship, and losing it isn't the only thing that sucks about breaking up.

I completely understand but I also kind of view the Sirens guys the same way I viewed the guys on Rescue Me- basically they are not written to be enlightened and will always struggle to be open minded. Since Denis Leary is behind Sirens as well as Rescue Me the characterization is kind of similar.

I'm kind of wondering if Voodoo and Brian are going to get back together in any case, the last episode I saw seemed to be pointing that way.

I thought it seemed that way too. Not sure how it would work since it's not like the reason they broke up in the first place is going to change but who knows.

I agree with you on principle, but that sounds like a pretty realistic reaction from some guys (and maybe some girls) tbh (not all, obviously, but I definitely know a few irl who would probably say the same thing).

That's a common/normal reaction from the average person though. I think it's nice the show even addresses asexuality in the first place.

Really? Thinking of your ex having sex with someone else is definitely one of the things that sucks about a breakup but they made it sound like that was the ONLY reason to be upset. Even leaving out the whole asexual aspect entirely, only being upset over the sex makes it sounds like sex was the only part of the relationship you cared about. Which seems a little douchey to me, but I guess those guys are kind of assholes in general so it shouldn't really be all that surprising.
