Yep. I've been casually working on a fantasy novel, basically ever seen I was a teenager, but I've put a ton of work into working the plot and characters, and over the past few years have really been trying to write it seriously.

But every new Dragon Age game that comes out, several of my ideas (and even a certain character) which I thought were original and awesome have been there. After each game, I've felt I've had to rework various details and even rewrite a character because at this point, it looks like blatant copying. My ideas were totally first, but I still feel too guilty to run with them.
