Maker here - I definitely don't mean to pin her as some sort of harpy or anything and I definitely didn't make the other secret today. I think it has a lot more to do with the nature of her art than her gender, and his own kind of mellow following nature on some things.

See, I don't think you're crazy, OP. You find them both kind of annoying, I'm on board with that. But you don't (seem to) have the foaming, crazy Palmer-hate that so many women do, the stuff that always comes straight out of the Misogyny Bucket.

I see what you're saying about her performance art, and I don't necessarily disagree there. But "she's turned into a barnacle"? That just comes across as unnecessarily blaming her and canonizing him.

I meant that only as a descriptive of something unavoidable. If it also comes off as misogynistic, that's something I'll reflect on. I don't have any interest in their relationship -that's exactly my point. I feel like I'm trying to follow this one narrow corridor for information on something that interests me, and I'm being sold something else. Frequently. I don't hate Palmer, though.
