If Light is the fastest thing that can exist in the universe, but light is sucked into a black hole, does that mean that anything going into a black hole is travelling faster than light?

It's traveling at the same speed? Light, planets, etc... Maybe light is sucked into BH faster than everything else. Or it should be closer to it to be sucked in.

Relative to the black hole itself, maybe, yeah. But the light is propagating faster through the space that is being deformed and swallowed by the black hole, just doing it laterally.

I think.
