When I was young and stupid about genetics, I assumed she was adopted. It seemed strange that the family never talked about it.

I also cut them a lot of slack for casting. Realism rarely applies when it comes to TV siblings. Like there are the Bradys, and then there are all the siblings have different hair color and complexions.

I'm really white but my distant relatives are black. But when I was young I had no idea about how genetics worked and this same thing also threw me in the Cosby's.

Somewhat OT: I saw Sondra LaBoeuf live in As You Like It at the Folger Theater (playing Rosalind) in the '80s and she was adorable. That's all!

Cool! She did seem very charming in Cosby, although she didn't get much to do except arrive unexpectedly from college.

Apparently Sabrina is now a regular with Washington Shakespeare Company. I am in DC, so I shall go see her!

I didn't even think she looked Black; to me she looked Middle Eastern or Native American.
It didn't help that the writers never gave her much of a personality compared to the other kids.
