Well, it is one of the few franchises that try pretty hard to be inclusive, and when it's one of the few examples you have, people are gonna be extra critical and put it on a high pedestal. DA has its problems but they won't improve unless they keep trying. I have heard bad things about the fandom so I've only ever stuck to re blogging silly fancomics.
