I wonder if it isn't because Dragon Age really tries to be awesome with social issues that they've drawn particularly SJW crowds.

If I take a step back from my love of the series, I could point out a few annoying things. Morgan wearing that absurd top even though she's living in the woods for one (though I guess her personality can be sensual at times, and she does care about her looks, so I suppose one could justify it). I thought Isabela was pretty much perfect, though 9 out of 10 of her lines were about sex, it got to be a bit much at times. Then again I've known women like that irl, so maybe it's realistic enough..

Still though, I love the Dragon Age characters, I've loved their LGBT representation (even if it wasn't there as much in Origins, it was still an enormous breakthrough at the time). I can't think of a game series that does it any better. Occasionally there have been "everyone is bisexual" games (like Sims) and that's awesome but I don't think they explore sexuality, or recognize and acknowledge it, in the same way Dragon Age has done.

Tbh I thought Morrigan's drapey top was in line with her living in the woods since she spent her days among the birds and spiders doing nature spells, and dgaf about wearing clothes/covering her boobs beyond the ceremonial.

But I mean, she's from a swamp. There are mosquitoes and shit. Unless she's spending all of her outdoor time in animal form (which explains why she's so pale), I guess.

Hey, she could always be using magic. God knows if I was a mage in a swamp, my research would go first and foremost to developing Repel Mosquito.

It's a freezing swamp, though. The Kocari Wilds are on the edge of the Southern Plateaux and it's basically Thedas' Antarctica. Mosquitos don't generally thrive in cold environments.

That's what personal heating spells and warmth balms are for! There's advantages to being the duaghter of the legendary Witch of the Wilds, even if Morrigan would rather not give Flemeth credit for anything.

Imo your first sentence sums it up. Some people don't like it if it isn't perfect, and since perfection doesn't exist those people are constantly pissed off, lol.

The Dragon Age fandom is massive though, and in my experience you can usually avoid a lot of the drama if you're careful of where you hang out/who you follow.

A+ image use OP, though an image of Cassandra snearing would've been great too.
