(Anonymous) 2015-03-25 12:53 am (UTC)(link)In fact, I think the less cultural representation your language or culture has the even more nitpicky you are when it comes up, because it's hardly ever done convincingly and the next depiction might not be along for a while.
Speaking as someone from a small country, it can rankle when the next 10,000 tourists all turn up with the same misconceptions from some movie.
