I agree, and I agree!

I know rhe show has always been over the top, but idk, the first season still managed to do it in a measured restrained way that was really exciting. The first time I saw the wendigo in season 1 I was STAGGERED. By the, oh, third time I saw it in season two, I was over it. The wendigo in a suit in the courtroom was just silly, and it only got sillier from there.

The third season previews look amazing, though!

BONUS: I wanted her to get with the doctor. Damn. I love that show.

I actually feel like the show keeps getting better and better. Is it outrageous...sure, but that's part of what I like about it.

I don't care if I ever see Hannibal have sex again, though. (And actually, I would like some more sensual but creepy scenes of him smelling people just as much.)

But she's still gorgeous (how is she still so gorgeous? Damn, she's aged well) and I'm glad she seems to play a bigger part in season three.

It's not intended to be realistic or understated or what have you, though, it's a big crazy opera that's best when you just roll with it. They live in a very strange universe where there are like eight Extremely Elaborate Tableau serial killers inside a year instead of none ever. And consider the way the source material ended up, lol. But I agree, those would be some really interesting sex scenes. We haven't seen him with someone who actually knows what she's dealing with.
