Don't we all? That doesn't mean there isn't a very real history of his works containing a lot of rape. Even if he hates rape, he sure does like writing it into things.

Many writers frequently write works that are filled with things that are unpleasant or bad.

That does not mean that they secretly love the bad thing.

This is not complicated.

I didn't say he secretly loved it, I said he loved using it. If an author has a history of making at least one character in every work of his, affected by PTSD, would it be wrong to say he really likes using PTSD as a plot device or character vehicle? No
