I had the weird thought just yesterday that we're the last generation in the (developed?) world who will have been 'before' social media, and before cameras were everywhere. Most people born now will see always being connected and the potential to always be recorded in public as normal. (Granted, that won't stop them doing or posting stupid things, but.)

And we're also the ones who chose what to post. Kids now have their parents sharing everything before it's even a choice for them.

At least my awkward teen years are not preserved on the internet for all to see.
