Re: Safe spaces
(Anonymous) 2015-03-26 02:13 am (UTC)(link)Oh, I agree completely that giving a warning is a totally fine thing to do. A good idea, in fact. Students should know what they're getting into. But I also think it's a case of people needing to take some responsibility for their own emotional reactions and for the situations they put themselves in.
I have ptsd myself, and because of that I wouldn't sign up for a course that very clearly covers things that I wouldn't be able to handle.
