I'm a complete virgin so maybe my opinion should be (justifiably) discounted but my excuse is basically laziness. It's just not worth the effort for me. Butt stuff takes a bit more prep than vaginal stuff (and even then I've never even used a dildo or stuck my fingers inside my vagina), so I just let it be.

That actually depends on the person. Not everyone needs that much prep for anal sex, and some women need a lot of preparation for vaginal sex. And actually, for some women, it can be less painful than vaginal penetration.

For me it's the issue of dealing with feces and all that.

Oh, that totally makes sense. I just wanted to mention that this isn't true for everyone. Personally, for health reasons, I find vaginal sex physically painful so I actually prefer to stick with other things.

It took me longer to get the hang of vaginal sex than anal sex. They were both painful to start with and very much a case of "get that thing out of there right now" for the first few goes.
