Honestly, I was mostly trying to see if there would be any interest before going beyond that - so...what would you be interested in playing?

Maybe something generic fantasy-ish, if you're looking for the maximum amount of interest? Something as fandom specific as LOTRO might turn people off. Tons of generic WoW clones out there, though!

Rift and Star Wars: The Old Republic are both free. I think Guild Wars 2 might be as well, but I haven't played it in a while.

GW2 is free-to-play (no subscription), but you do have to buy the game.

Ah okay, I thought so. WildStar is like that now as well.

(I see from MMOhut that Aion is free now too, but I am not a fan of open world PVP.)

Elder scrolls online is free now too - and it's had most of it's issues fixed since launch.

I would love to play with other people, but Final Fantasy XIV definitely requires a copy and a subscription.

Yeah, I'd love to find people to play the Borderlands games with...but you need to buy a copy to play it so. ^^;;

Ngl I actually wish I could add some of you guys on WoW but I'm EU so that's not even a remote possibility, and I'm not sure if any of the free-to-play MMO's would have the same issue.

NGL myself, but I hate that companies have continued the EU/NA split even though it's not really needed anymore.

I guess with WoW I can see reasons for it because of server population numbers I guess? But I don't care I wish I could add some people on the oceanic servers, it'd be great(I mean the time difference would be fun to get around but psssh).

Yes! I'm only new to MMOs but I play wildstar (entity server and war hound server) and primal carnage. In the unlikely event of people seeing me I'd love to run around with you!

Will take free to play suggestions. Wildstar is still subscription :(

I can't remember teh server I'm on for Wildstar, but. I'm on that gamne. And WoW I play Proudmoore, Alliance mainly (well, it's an Alli server, the horde side is a bit abysmal).

Us or Euro server? There's only the two PvE and PvP servers for each region now :(
