That was such an annoying sub-plot, thankfully it didn't last long but I don't even get how there was an issue to begin with. He's super-rich and could have gotten an apartment there, plus he's a writer who's office is at home, so it's not like there was a work-issue on his side. (I can see there being a family one but well, that's going to happen if Alexis moves away from home anyway, besides he could have visited!).
