Same thing for black people, like me, who call themselves niggas. I don't like that but I understand it and don't correct people when they do it.
And what about white people who call themselves rednecks? Redneck is a slur that is near universally embraced by many. Should we be offended by them too?
You don't have to like it but you have no right to police what terms people call themselves by, even if it's within your own groups. You have no right.
