Am I rare in not thinking Six's tenure sucked...?

I'm with OP on disliking JNT more than Moffat, but I love Six.

Six is redeemed in Big Finish Audio. I love Big Finish so much.

I think a majority of Classic Who fans recognize that CBaker is actually rather good, and trying his very best with the material he was given. How much they can separate his performance from the overall mess of writing/direction/production design varies considerably.

And some of the ideas proposed for Season 23 that were jettisoned in favor of Trial of a Timelord sounded pretty promising/have later been done in Virgin Books or Big Finish format.

Trial of a Timelord is pretty good too, just that whole inconvenient death with no script notes thing going on at the end. Really the whole Colin Baker era can be summed up as not enough time to develop anything properly.
