I was eating celery and now my throat/tongue are kinda itchy/scratchy/irritated and I'm trying to figure out why. This has never happened before.

Signs point to you're allergic to celery.

But, yeah, they do. Rats. I like celery!

I feel your pain. I also like celery. But for something to be allergic to at least you lucked out- celery is a relatively easy thing to avoid.

Do you have some access to Benadryl or other allergy meds? If it's bothersome, take it, if it gets worse, go to doc/ER ASAP.

I do have allergy meds and have made sure to take some, anon! Thanks for checking in! I'm feeling a bit better already. :)
