I feel silly because I thought it was finished. I vaguely remember the angst... It'd be great if she'll write a new book in the series but so much time has passed that I doubt it'll happen. It's a bit like waiting an autjor to pick up their WIP after they've left the fandom and have started a few other fics.

Um... the first book of The Fitz and the Fool series (Fool's Assassin) was published in August 2014 and the next installment is scheduled for release this summer. Are you mistakenly thinking of the Royal Assassin and Tawny Man trilogies? Those are different books than the one OP's referring to.

She finished both trilogies, you're right, wrapped it all up and called it a day and everybody was sad over the ending.
Now she decided to do a new trilogy about them, snd I at least am torn between hoping it will fulfill my dreams and fearing it will get worse.
