AYRT--Who'd they be related to and how did Rumple screw them over? Maybe EVE's locked up in a display cabinet someplace?

But honestly, the main reason I quit watching is Rumple's flashbacks feel sad and pointless now; imp Rumple's schemes all centered around his son. Watching Rumple manipulate people for someone the audience knows is dead ripped the heart out of OUAT, for me; ramping up the soap opera plots and Disney promotions just finished it off.

(And thanks to whatever behind the scenes shit went down, Bae's basically the only main character guaranteed to stay dead; in much the same way that Rumple's the only character who couldn't travel between worlds on a whim.)

Maybe Rumple stole Wall-E from EVE to clean the Dark Castle after Belle "died." Then EVE can show up on a murderous rampage only to be redeemed at the last moment with the power of LURVE.

Seeing MRJ be sacrificed on the altar of Captain Swan was really the beginning of the end. Even if they didn't want Swanfire to happen, there was so MUCH that could be done with Bae/ Neal.

I mostly hate-watch now just to see how badly the writers can fuck up their own character/ continuity. Even X-Files wasn't this embarrassing in its death throes.

Yeah, I wasn't a big Swanfire shipper; they were cute, but I wasn't waiting with bated breath for Emma to hook up (pun intended) with anyone; it was cool to see a capable single mom heroine. I would've been okay with Emma with Graham or Neal or hell, Mulan or Anton the giant. Just ... somebody nice. Not Captain Codfish.

Ah, for the end of season 2, when it looked like Hook's conscience was experiencing growing pains for the first time in centuries. Nope, false alarm, it wasn't his conscience after all. Just an Emma-boner. Sigh.

And my favorite characters were Belle, Bae, Henry, Rumple, Mulan, and Emma. Emma might as well not have a son for all the scenes Henry gets--he's just used to prop up Regina and as an obstacle for Hook, Neal's dead, Mulan's vanished, Belle's being used to further Rumple's angst, and Rumple's either nuts from the past year of torture and slavery, massively OOC, or both. If Emma and Belle were real, I'd be leaving women's shelter pamphlets in their purses because Rumple took over Hook's creepy stalker role from last season and Hook's good behavior goes poof as soon as Emma's not watching him.

Are you me? ;) I also watch pretty much for the purpose of seeing just how bad it gets. I was surprised how good the Frozen arch ended up being, however. It's clear more than one person on the creative team actually gave a shit about Elsa and Anna as characters, not just cash cows. They also made me like the movie a little more by giving a reason their parents wanted to hide Elsa away verse teaching her how to deal with her powers because when I watched Frozen I thought that was contrived as hell.

But yeah, killing Bae was really fucking stupid. They didn't need to do it! Emma didn't have to end up with him. In fact, I'd think it'd be a good thing. Plenty of people have lived Henry's situation, of being a child of a couple that isn't together. The show could have explored that. But nope, have to take the fan fiction way out. "S/he stands in the way of my OTP! S/he must die!" Seriously A&E are 14 year old girls.
