Project management is the end-to-end process of initiation, following through and ending/passing over a project. It includes canvassing stakeholders, communication, meetings, communication, planning, plans ruined and more planning, deadlines, targets throughout the process, finance tracking, report writing, control groups possible, a decided end target (what do you want as a result? how can you do this? how can you measure this? when does it leave your hands? at what point does your responsibility end and begin? how long does the project go for? add in flexible time, who's a stakeholder? who's a concerned person? who's a consult? what rules must you abide by, who do you need to speak to to get certain approvals, what is the sign off procedure, do you need to speak to the finance team, are their strict rules, what are the financial constraints? what are the ethical constraints? what is the justificaiton - write down the justification, reword it depending on the stakeholder you have to convince, reword it depending on the audience, does it have multiple results, explain how it is beneficial and good for X, KEEP CONSULTING THROUGH OUT THE PROCESS, provide feedback and updates, ask advice, get advice, make sure to have the rough process outlined from end to end and FOR THE LOVE OF GOD when the project ends REVIEW IT to see what worked and didn't work - and if its an appropriate project, REVIEW IT AGAIN IN X TIME PERIOD for improvements/still working

This is mostly about accountability. It is very fucking important from the start to draw the line on where your accountability/influence ends
