I've always wanted to be interesting enough to do one of these.
Ask a boring person anything!

What do you think is the most interesting thing about you?

I can ride a unicycle but not a bike.
I've handled venomous snakes.
I can lick my elbow.

Idk. Are those things interesting?

YES THEY ARE.
Unicycles are cool. Are they actually easier than a bike? I'm not very good with bikes but if I have hope with a unicycle I am totally going to try :OO
Snakes are awesome.
I can lick my elbow too!

I obviously found them easier!
I was able to learn by putting my arm over a friend's shoulder for a little support, but once you get up and get the hang of it, it's pretty easy.

Snakes are awesome!

I've always wanted to go to Egypt! I've seen most of the major cities in Europe that I wanted to see, but I'd still love to see more. I am hoping to get to New Zealand in the next year or so, to see some pretty things and maybe check out some LOTR scenery. Too much world, not enough money.

Egypt would be very cool. Ruins and old statues are some of the best things the ancients left us, and Egypt has those in abundance.

I'm going to take 'too much world, not enough money' as my new motto.

I was hoping to go a couple of years ago, but it's not the most politically stable of places.

I was going to say "I wish it could be the other way around!" but if I've seen everything, I wouldn't have new things to be excited about. More money would be nice though.

I don't know, I feel like most cities are so dynamic that even if you've lived in them for a while, you'll still have plenty of things to be excited about after a short break. All sorts of amazing changes and events.

Also, you can explore the same city almost endlessly. I don't think I'm remotely done exploring the places where I spent many years of my life (though, granted, one of them seems to be the largest city in Europe).

That's true! I've found a lot of interesting things in places I've already passed through when I've been confident enough to walk around and explore on my own.

Yeah, I know that feeling of wanting to visit a place that could explode into crazy at any given moment. I was saving to go to Turkey, looking at pictures of Cappadocia and Ephesus....

Nope. Nope, nope, nope. The Middle East needs to calm itself down.

Makes me sad. Middle East, be calm and let me visit you!

Most exciting or risk think you ever did?

Re: AMA thread

Recycling above answer: handling venomous snakes.
There's also: swimming with sharks and stingrays, jumped part of an olympics show jumping course, forward-facing abseiling.

I like heights and things that go fast or bite. I'm not a good role-model for small children.

Do you think we'd get along if we met IRL?

Re: AMA thread

[personal profile] belladonna_took 2015-04-04 09:15 pm (UTC)(link)
You know I love you long time, anon.

Probably, though. I feel pretty neutral about people until I know them well, but I can get along with just about anybody.
I'm well-liked by old ladies and mentally ill homeless people for some reason. Animals follow me around. Babies always smile at me, or maybe it's gas. Idk.

What's with all the hobbit references? Is this a fandom thing, or a running gag, or what?

Re: AMA thread

[personal profile] belladonna_took 2015-04-04 09:22 pm (UTC)(link)
I was talking about The Hobbit when I decided to make an account, so I ended up choosing a hobbit name for my username, and it's sort of accurate because I'm smallish and I like gardening?

But yes I have replied to a post or two as a hobbit pretending to be offended by someone hating on hobbits. I think I'm funnier than I am. It's become like when I first got chickens and couldn't stop making chicken related puns. Help me.

I wish I could but I have egg-sperienced the same thing.

What is your favourite Richard Armitage role?

I'd have to say Thorin, but I even like him as an evil Hydra goon in Captain America. Damn your sinister attraction, Armitage!
