Anyone else seen the movie? Thoughts?

Non-spoilers-the plot and dialogue are over the top ridiculous but if you're looking to be entertained, this is the movie for you.

My advice: Watch some of the movies beforehand. We marathoned 1, 5, and 6 before going to the theater and were so hyped up to see 7 that I think made it more enjoyable.

I did a marathon of them last year but I def need to do a rewatch before I go see 7. Can't wait to see it though!

Do it. I was so excited to go. A group of us watched it before and we made the comments while we were watching them at home and it was so hard not to make comments in the theater.

Meanwhile, one of my friends hadn't seen any of the movies, but just wanted to hang out with us, and so we had to give him a quick 20 minute history of all of the movies and his reaction to everything in the 7th was priceless.

Omg that sounds fun.

Going to see it tomorrow or the day after, probs. SO EXCITE. I and the SO have seen every single one in theatres since the first one. If this one isn't the last one I'll be pissed, though.

RIP Paul Walker

As we were walking to the theater we kept trying to think how could they top the airplane scene in the sixth one? Oh they did! Then we tried to think about what could happen in the 8th and beyond because there needs to be more. Not enough Rock in the 7th one.

But Paul Walker tho. :/

I've only seen Fast 5 all the way through and bits of Fast 6 where I ended up shipping Han/Gisele and not being happy about that(why you do that do them movie, whhhhyyy).

Because Han is already dead. We know he dies at the end of 3 so the order of the movies goes 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 3, and then 7.

But ugh Gisele was amazing. She is the best female character in the series, not that it's really saying much.

By marathoning them, it made 7 way better.

Oh. OH. He's the guy that dies in Tokyo Drift?! I thought I recognised his face, well I'm still annoyed but it makes sense now.

I liked her. I wanted her and Han to travel the world together and bang in cars, or like settle down in Tokyo for a bit. I dunno, just have them NOT DEAD.

I will probably end up seeing 7 on TV or something, I don't mind the films but they're not ones I need to see when they first come out.

Yeah I'm super annoyed because I loved Han and Gisele together.

Honestly, if it wasn't for a group of us going together, I probably wouldn't have gone to see it opening weekend.

Fast & Furious (4) I only saw in theaters because my cousin and I were bored visiting my grandparents and there was a cheap $2 theater near their house.

I saw Fast Five in theaters because I had free tickets, so I went with my brother.

I saw 6 on a plane ride to Munich.

So I understand the whole waiting until it comes out.

They were cute, and as far as dumb action movie romance goes they weren't so bad. I just wanted them to be happy. :(

Yeah I don't think they're the worst movies ever or anything but I've got no urgency to watch them either, I can wait. :)
