First episodes dropped.

Everyone for the new Attack on Titan except this time it's even more edgy even more pandering, but slightly less ridiculous monsters.

First episode [spoilers] has all the young kids the teenage protagonists are looking after killed off and a child prostitution metaphor so overt it barely counts as metaphor.

lol yeah, I watched the first episode on a friend's rec and it's... kind of ~edgy~ with everybody being killed right off. It's funny because I *do* actually like AoT (though there I find the horrible, overblown melodrama entertaining, and I could probably write a bunch about the differences I feel between that and this), but this is... idk, we'll have to see where it goes.

What the fuck, all the promotional material I saw for it looked fairly cute. Is intentional false advertising another part of its edginess?

Dropped too. It seems really uninspired and it looked liked it will turn into one of those "tragic childhood male friends that end up on different sides" that I'm barely ever interested in.

The realisation was also quite bad in some scenes when it came to framing and the choice of camera angles.

It clearly has talented people working on it but at must also have complete retards there as well to bring down the quality to an aggressive 5/10. Tragic. Almost as tragic as dead-ass anime moppets. :(

...How about those background paintings though.
