How much of it is necessary progressive reformism and how much is woolly-headed utopianism? Well, a lot of the stuff that became mainstream social democracy was supposedly utopian, and is denounced on the right still. So, it's probably all good ideas until proved otherwise, considering the track record to date. thppbbt!
