I actually only liked the earlier episodes. They were the right kind of fun and silly for me, while still making me wonder about the mysteries behind the world/setting and the characters.

Once the episodes and stories started getting more serious and answering those questions (the Ice King's past, the origins of the setting, etc.), I lost all interest.
