Does anyone else get annoyed that SJWs are CONSTANTLY complaining about how Rhodey and Sam Wilson are ignored in the MCU?

And yet...and yet...I never ONCE see these fucks reblogging anything about them.

I make Sam Wilson photosets, gifs, write meta and yet I NEVER see these people reblogging them.

Maybe my work is shit (I don't know it might very well be) but you'd think that they would at least support it instead of complaining that no one every does anything for these characters.

I go out of my way to try to find Sam Wilson blogs to follow but it's frustrating when people spend more time complaining about the lack of content than actually making and disseminating content.

WTF guys.

It's easier to be react than to act. It's easier to be offended than to make an effort to solve a problem. In fact, being offended takes no effort at all.

Son, they'll ignore anything that'll interfere with what they say.

I don't do to much, but I love Sam and like stuff about him. If you wanna dean on through PM and tell me who you are, I would follow you and appreciate the Sam stuff. :)

A lot of people love to complain and tell other people how to behave, but have zero interest in any actual solutions to the things they're complaining about, especially if it involves them having to actually do something.

So, call them out. Next time they repost or make a post whining about that very thing, send them a message saying, "Hi, I made such and such post that you will looking for. Can you reblog it to help me spread the word?" And if they don't call them out on that.

I would, but I'm a coward and I have a feeling that would only result in me getting dogpiled.

Plus, it's painfully obvious that they don't actually care about Sam, they just want an excuse to call the fandom racist and I'd really like for my stuff to be reblogged by people who care about the character rather than just using him as some sort of discriminatory measuring stick.

Sounds like a person I saw arguing with a friend of mine on Tumblr. She called the MCU fandom racist for not liking characters like Skye and May, and the only thing she had to say to back up such claims was that everyone was a googly eyed drooling Loki fangirl.

Though I think in her case she was trying to 'validate' why her favorites weren't as popular as the fandom's favorites. She was still wrong and stupid as fuck for it.

DA--hell, I AM a drooling Loki fangirl... and I could give a shit about anyone trying to make me feel guilty about it or spoil my fun. For SJW reasons or not. So the finger-wagging might end up being counter productive.

To be fair--the way Tumblr operates, it can be very easy to miss things that don't happen in the fairly limited circle you run in. The people complaining about Rhodey and Sam being ignored may not be ignoring content like yours; they may simply not have seen it. A lot can pass you by unless you're following the right people, which leads to some insularity and circle-jerking.

It's especially easy to miss things in big fandoms like MCU, where the tags move so quickly. If no one with a big audience sees and reblogs your post, it's unlikely that most people in fandom are going to see it. Just because someone thinks Sam needs more love doesn't mean they're going to spend all day refreshing #Sam Wilson. No one has time for that.

If there isn't one already, OP might have more success by contacting the Sam blogs they follow and trying to start up a "samwilsonedits" tag or something. Most of the fandoms I'm in use tags like that for gifsets and stuff so that people can just go in there and browse the pretty rather than look through the hectic main character/fandom tags.

This, so much. I see so many 'why isn't anyone talking about X!' posts, and then I look at my own dashboard, full of posts about X, and I want to reblog them and be like 'I don't know, maybe because you're not following the right people?'
