(Anonymous) 2015-04-05 11:04 pm (UTC)(link)Yeah, I know what you mean. They're interesting, but they feel more like archtypes than real people. Pratchett's characters on the other hand, are often quite comic and prone to poking fun at stereotypes, but they're very human. It's clear he's thought a great deal about what makes people tick, what motivates them, all their petty human feelings, etc. I don't get that sense from Gaiman.
