Really? Jezebel is on par with RoK in terms of awfulness? I haven't had much exposure to Jezebel but what I've seen is mostly tame, if eyeroll-worthy.

Of course, if you're going to decide that there's a certain threshold beyond which it's not acceptable to give sites traffic, I guess you can have stuff beyond the threshold that are still way different in degrees of awfulness.

(I'm not familiar with Gawker at all, though I've heard of it.)

I have a hard time believing Jezebel is on par with RoK. I mean, it's ROOSH, the guy who proudly hates women and posts that rape should only be a crime in public spaces. You have to TRY to outdo him in horribleness.

man, I keep forgetting about Roosh himself. It's bad enough reading some of the drivel on there (I've read a few articles) and then getting into the comments (because I'm so angry and stubborn that I have to rail against something so horrible). It's kind of soul-draining though, so I'm glad nothing has led me down that nightmarish rabbit hole in a long time.

Yeah, when someone says RoK, I mostly think of Roosh. What a miserable cocksore of a man.

I hang out on a feminist snark site and Roosh has his own tag on there. It allows me the mockery with less soul-crushingness. I don't think I could stomach RoK unfiltered.
