Deadpool is actually supposed to look like Ryan Reynolds but with hideous tumor ridden skin. He's said so himself, long before the movie was a thing that had a cast.



Bonus: From the same storyline: He sounds like "Demi Moore gargling gravel"

I remember the Demi Moore thing. I always imagined him sounding a bit more like Jerry Lewis, which is why I was deeply astounded by someone saying they always imagining him gravely and macho. It's like, dude, it's DEADPOOL. He must have the most annoying voice in the world, to be so known for it.
