I mean, it's stupidly hard to make an unqualified statement wrt leftism, because people have been spending 150 years disagreeing with each other about literally anything. But I think, at the very least, many people would say that post-revolutionary society in Marxist thought would be expected to look a lot like what anarchists promote. So it's not surprising that you would want to skip there. TBH I think the part that makes it confusing is that so much of anarchism is broadly left that it's hard to sort out what specific features make it Marxist that you don't get just by virtue of being anarchist.

(Anonymous) 2015-04-06 02:16 pm (UTC)(link)Kropotkin and other anarchists around Marx's time fell out with him because they saw that his state communism would just lead to totalitarianism. They believed in the sharing aspect, without the co-ercion of state control.
