(Anonymous) 2015-04-06 03:35 am (UTC)(link)Well, tbh it isn't the first time, but it has occurred more lately. I think since she's getting older and realizing all the people she treated like shit don't want to be around her anymore (it's allllllllll their fault of course), that maybe religion is one of the few things she has left so it's all she can use to connect to other people. Mortality can be a scary thing to think about at any age, but I assume it's worse for older people who have been nasty all their lives, and who may be dealing with the possibility of being left alone (at home, or in a home) and/or dying alone.
In a way, I kind of feel sorry for her, but that doesn't mean I have to be around her, or take any of the shit she's shoveling.
